Ben Pier was born in 1980 and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He moved to Chicago at 19 where he studied photography at Columbia College. In 2006, he left the dear Midwest for New York City where he now lives and works, and is writing this in his overcrowded loft in Brooklyn. He has made photographs for Bausch & Lomb, Time Out Chicago, Fat Wreck-Chords, Grey Flight Records, Punk Rock Confidential, Vice Magazine, The Chicago Tribune, Powerchord Academy, Block Magazine, The Brooklyn Rail, Drum! Magazine, and countless Myspace profiles. Call him and give him an assignment. He’ll totally do it.
